Exercise transformation with training: went from barely able to walk a block to completing a half marathon last Saturday.
My fitness journey alongside GLP-1 therapy:
- Month 1-2: Walking 15 min/day
- Month 3-4: Walking 30-45 min, started bodyweight exercises
- Month 5-6: Joined a gym, started resistance training
- Month 7+: Running, lifting heavy, cycling for fun
The weight loss made movement possible. The movement made more weight loss possible. Virtuous cycle in action.
Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. Practical: whatever you change, write down the date and the reason. In three months the reason is what you will have forgotten, and the reason is what makes the record worth having.

There is a second half to this that has not been said yet. If two explanations both fit, the useful question is which one predicts something the other does not. That is answerable; arguing about which sounds more plausible is not.

Shop Reference StandardsFollowing on from SleepDoc_PDX — and this may be the naive question:
How would you tell the difference between that and the alternative explanation?
Closing the loop on my own question.
Late follow-up. I did not do what was suggested, I did something adjacent, and it worked; posting the difference in case it matters to somebody.
